New Delhi [India], Nov 19 : The seventh season of 'Cause 4 the Paws', an initiative to search suitable homes for dogs abandoned by their families, is finally here!
The canine adoption drive aims at giving all dog lovers an exclusive chance to find loyal and affectionate pets and experience their unconditional love.
This unique initiative is being organized by Select CITYWALK in association with the animal welfare organization 'People for Animals'. In the last six years, the drive has helped close to over sixty homeless dogs to find a loving home.
Scheduled to take place on November 23 and 24 this year, the seventh season will see former union cabinet minister for women & child development and chairperson of 'People for Animals', Maneka Gandhi, present at the event to encourage humane treatment towards our four-legged friends.
Moreover, the platform will feature a mix of popular breeds such as German Shepherd, Labrador, Saint Bernard, Pomeranian and Indie amongst others from the 'Sanjay Gandhi Animal Care Centre'.
"We have been successfully organizing 'Cause 4 The Paws' to find loving homes for abandoned pets since the past 6 years in association with People For Animals," said Yogeshwar Sharma, Executive Director & CEO, Select CITYWALK.
"We hope that maximum people will open their hearts and their doors, adopt a homeless dog and take-home unconditional love from this event. This is our humble effort to do our bit for the voiceless," he added.
