Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel inaugurates panchayat bhawan, highlights cultural heritage during visit to Devrajiya model village

Amreli (Gujarat) [India], September 20 : As part of the Gujarat government's model village initiative, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel visited Devrajiya village in Amreli district, where he toured the smart model village and inaugurated a newly constructed Panchayat Bhawan.
In a post on X, he highlighted how the model village attractions reflect the area's culture.
"During the tour of Amreli district visited Devarajiya which is a convenient and smart village of the district. I visited the 'Khordu' situated in the padar of the village and presenting an overview of the village culture," read the post.

Additionally, he inaugurated the newly built Gram Panchayat Bhawan, constructed under the Community Development Programme.
"Flowers were offered to the statues of great men in the village courtyard. Here, the newly constructed Gram Panchayat Bhavan was inaugurated under the Community Development Programme. I am grateful to the villagers of Devarajiya village for their warm welcome," he added.
Earlier, the Chief Minister attended the Bhoomi Pujan ceremony and inaugurated several development projects in the region, including the flagging off of a railway overbridge and the inauguration of a jetting machine at Liliya Gram Panchayat office in Sabar Kundla.
The CM also visited Ambardi Safari Park in Amreli district, encouraging tourists to explore the park and its wildlife.
"This Ambardi Safari Park has been opened for tourists since 2017 by the Forest Department of the State Government. The park also has facilities like a food court, various selfie points, a waiting lounge and ample parking," he said.
Further highlighting the biodiversity in the park, he added, "Visited Ambardi Safari Park in Dhari, Amreli district. Spread over 365 hectares, the park has an amazing experience of watching the lions roaming in the midst of nature and the natural beauty. In the safari park, a variety of birds such as white jays, rajalals, bulbuls, latoras, jays and pheasants and birds of prey such as vultures, vultures and hawks can also be seen flying freely in the sky. Along with buffaloes, pythons, chameleons and other reptiles make this area truly biodiverse."
