Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel lays foundation stone, inaugurates development projects worth Rs 122 crore in Amreli

Amreli (Gujarat) [India], November 5 : Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel laid the foundation stones and inaugurated development projects worth Rs 122 crore at Savarkundla in Amreli district on Tuesday.
As per an official release, CM Patel initiated multiple development projects in Savarkundla, including laying the foundation for projects worth Rs 103 crore in the municipality area, inaugurating road and building works valued at Rs 4.90 crore, and launching projects under the Panchayat Roads and Buildings Department worth Rs 13.47 crore.
The event witnessed the participation of prominent dignitaries including MLAs J.V. Kakadiya, Janak Talaviya, Hirabhai Solanki, Kanchan Radadiya, as well as the President of Savarkundla Municipality, Mehul Trivedi, and Chairman of Savarkundla Market Yard, Deepak Malani.
The Members of the District and Taluka Panchayats, former MP Naran Kachhadiya, and former MLAs Bavkubhai Undhad, Vallabhbhai Kakadiya, Mansukh Bhuva, Hanubhai Dhorajiya, Kalubhai Virani, Ambarishbhai Der, Rajula leader Jigneshbhai Patel, Bhupendrabhai Basia, Hirenbhai Hirpara, Vipulbhai Dudhat and others were also present in the event.
Cooperative leaders, community heads, and local farmers attended the program, emphasizing its significance for the entire community. Mehul Trivedi delivered the vote of thanks on behalf of Savarkundla Municipality.
To honour the Chief Minister and the attending dignitaries, symbols representing the region's rich culture were presented. These included a weighing scale, a traditional bell, and a bullock cart. The program also showcased cultural performances by renowned folk artists such as Vijaydan Gadhvi, Kiritdan Kunchala, Harshaben Karelia, Rekhaben Vala, and other talented musicians, celebrating the heritage of Savarkundla, added the release.
