Ranchi (Jharkhand) [India], October 22 : Ahead of the Jharkhand Assembly polls, Leader of Opposition Amar Kumar Bauri hit out at the JMM government in Jharkhand and alleged that Chief Minister Hemant Soren had forgotten the employment promises to the students and there were irregularities in recruitment exams.
Amar Kumar Bauri said, "Hemant Soren has forgotten the employment and financial aid promises he made to the voters. On the other hand, we see that irregularities were observed in recruitment exams. We have promised people that when we come to power, we will cancel the CGL exam and order a CBI enquiry into it. The second failure of this government is the demographic shift in Santhal Pargana due to illegal immigration from Bangladesh. The government still does not realise that the 'roti, beti, and maati' of the tribes of Santhal are in danger."
Bauri further said that in the last 5 years, Soren did not fulfil the promises he made to the people of the state.
He further said, "In the last session of Vidhan Sabha we had asked CM Hemant Soren he had promised before the 2019 polls that there would be 5 lakh government jobs for students and if he is unable to provide 5 lakh jobs he would provide unemployment allowance. He said that if he is unable to provide then he would leave politics. He said he would provide Rs 72,000 to every poor yearly. He said he would provide Rs 2000 for cooking expenses to every poor. In the last 5 years, he did not remember his promises."
Bauri said that the BJP has promised that on coming to power they would provide 1.5 lakh jobs by November 15, 2025, on the 150th birth anniversary of Birsa Munda.
"We will deposit Rs 2,100 in the account of every woman. Every family will get a gas cylinder at Rs 500, 2 cylinders free every year, youth who are preparing for exams will get Rs 2000 per month and sand will be provided free of cost," he further said.
He said that during the campaign he would talk about the failures of the present government and the manifesto of the BJP.
