Here's why Lindsay Lohan is not impressed with Zendaya's Met Gala look

Washington D.C. [USA], May 8 : Lindsay Lohan was least impressed with actor Zendaya's outfit for the Met Gala 2019. While she channelled her inner Disney Princess at the star-studded event, Lohan thought the look lacked originality.
Zendaya's Cinderella-inspired Tommy Hilfiger ball gown at the pink carpet not only lit up but she also dramatically dropped her glass slipper on the carpet, just like the Disney character, reported E! News. The Mean Girls actor accused Zendaya of copying actor Claire Danes' Met Gala gown from 2016.
Lohan took to Instagram to point out the similarity, "Claire Danes did that with Zac Posen already," she commented on Zendaya's post.
Danes dressed in a similar gown for the Met Gala three years back with the theme -- 'Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology'.
Lindsay, who hasn't attended the star-studded event since 2007, further added fuel to the fire by posting another comment, "Claire Danes you wore this dress so beautifully, I don't know why someone thinks that they can be more chic. Ever."
Both Claire and Zendaya looked equally dazzling in their dresses, but Zendaya was the one who opted to pay homage to the storybook character. Contrary to Lohan's comparison, designer of Danes' outfit had not mentioned Cinderella in the description for the dress.
Zac Posen, who designed the 2016 outfit, had earlier shared that he hoped to justify that year's theme by creating a gown that highlighted "the place where technology and fantasy meet".
On the other hand, Zendaya teamed up with Tommy Hilfiger to create a dreamy fairy tale look worthy of the princess.
From the gown's dull grey colour transformation into a beautiful shimmering blue to the carriage clutch, the 22-year-old star and the team of designers truly converted their vision to work.
While it is difficult to judge who wore it better, both the stars have managed to make a mark as they sashayed down the pink carpet.
