MP: CM Yadav expresses confidence to win bypolls with huge majority in state

Sehore (Madhya Pradesh) [India], November 9 : Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has expressed his confidence in winning the byelections to two assembly constituencies scheduled to undergo in the state, saying they are moving towards winning this election with a huge majority.
CM Yadav made the remark while talking to the media persons after addressing a public gathering in Budhi assembly constituency in Sehore district in support of BJP nominee Ramakant Bhargav on Saturday.
"The way the Bharatiya Janata Party is contesting in this by elections, both constituencies Vijaypur and Budhni -which is the workplace of former Chief Minister and current union Agriculture Minister Shivaraj Singh Chauhan and people are very attached, we are moving towards winning this election with a huge majority," CM Yadav said.
It is a farmer dominated area and everyone is engaged in working with enthusiasm here. On November 13, there will be a heavy voting and the BJP will win with a huge majority, he said.
The chief minister further said about transferring the funds to beneficiaries of various schemes through a single click from a program in Indore district.
"As we have said, the announcement made in our government and whatever scheme initiated by our former chief minister, we are providing funds for each scheme and new records of development are being made," he added.
Notably, two assembly seats in Madhya Pradesh Vijaypur assembly seat in Sheopur district and Budhni seat in Sehore district will undergo by-poll on November 13 and the counting of votes will be done on November 23.
Budhni assembly seat is the bastion of senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and it got vacant as he got elected as Member of Parliament (MP) from Vidisha constituency in the recently concluded general election 2024.
On the other hand, Vijaypur assembly seat in Sheopur district fell vacant after Ramniwas Rawat, who was sitting MLA from the seat from Congress party, quit the grand old party and joined the BJP amid the Lok Sabha elections in April this year. Currently, Rawat is the Forest and Environment Minister in the cabinet of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav.
