"NDDB sold over 427 lakh litres of milk per day in 2022-23": Amit Shah at NDDB's Diamond Jubilee

Anand (Gujarat) [India], October 22 : Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah said on Tuesday that the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) has sold over 427 lakh litres of milk per day and its net profit was over Rs 50 crores in the year 2022-23.
"As per the NDDB report for 2022-23, it sold over 427 lakh litres of milk per day and its net profit was over Rs 50 crores. This shows how much development is happening at NDDB. I once attended a board meeting of NDDB and told them to not restrict yourself to milk only. Expand them. "It is heartening to know that it is also ventured into the processing of vegetables, fruits and potatoes," Home Minister Shah said while addressing Diamond Jubilee celebrations of NDDB.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday attended the Diamond Jubilee celebrations of the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) and the launch of farmer welfare activities on the birth anniversary of Tribhuvan Patel.
Tribhuvan Patel was the founder of Kaira District Co-operative Milk Producers' Union in 1946 and later the Amul co-operative movement in Anand, Gujarat, India.
The National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) was founded in 1965 as a cooperative diary.
Earlier today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended greetings to Union Home Minister Amit Shah on the occasion of his birthday and called him a hard-working leader.
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, and Goa CM Pramod Sawant also extended greetings to Union Home Minister Amit Shah on the occasion of his 60th birth anniversary and called him an influential administrator, a hard-working person, and a strong personality.
