Washington D.C. [USA], June 1 : Pete Davidson, who is a comedian and an actor, added a new achievement to his resume- model!
The 'Saturday Night Live' (SNL) star made his modelling debut by walking for Alexander Wang's New York City show, reported E! News.
The show took place at the famed 30 Rockefeller Plaza on Friday night. Davidson must have felt at home walking the runaway as it's very close to the studio where 'SNL' is filmed.
Cameras caught a glimpse of the 25-year-old star when he was rehearsing by the ice skating rink on Friday afternoon.
Guests at the show were totally surprised to see the comedian in Wang's designer ensemble, which consisted of black and white pants, a white tank and a black baseball cap.
One fan marveled, "Pete Davidson rlly walked for Alexander Wang tonight...I dieeeee."
The show was special for more than just Davidson's surprise appearance. Wang made the event open to the public, inviting people to watch from the Rockefeller Center's upper plaza. Fashion industry invitees sat on the lower level, closer to the rink where the models walking the runway, reported People.
The event also included street food and Lady Liberty greeting guests to add to the vibe of the collection.
"We thought of this as a public moment as well, so that anyone who comes to see the show will also experience something beyond seeing it from the upper plaza. Fans who couldn't make the show in person were invited to watch online via livestream," Wang's spokesperson said.
Models Kendall Jenner, Kaia Gerber, and Binx Walton also walked in the show, as per Vogue cited by People.
This isn't the first time that Davidson has sported Wang's designs. The 'SNL' star wore the designer's outfit on the cover of Variety last year, and has been known to wear Wang pieces as streetwear, contributing to his specific aesthetic that has become known as "scumbro."
Pete's modelling debut doesn't come as a surprise since the star is known for frequently wearing designer clothing and has mingled with big names like Yeezy designer Kanye West and Queer Eye's Tan France.
