28th National Masters Table Tennis Championship commences in Srinagar

Srinagar, Aug 23 (ANI): 28th National Masters Table Tennis Championship kick started on August 23 in Srinagar. The championship was started in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council. Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha inaugurated the championship under the initiative of ‘My Youth My Pride’. It was concluded in August 28. More than 1,200 veteran players from 35 states took part in the championship. The championship gave inspiration to the players who have interest in Table Tennis. Jammu and Kashmir government is also giving free Table Tennis tables in schools and colleges to give a boost to this game. This initiative was also appreciated by LG Manoj Sinha. He encouraged players from different parts of the country to play in Kashmir.
