Bandipora (J&K), July 3 (ANI): Several families from remote Shamthan and Gori Hajin villages in north Kashmir's Bandipora district have returned to their homes after being displaced due to conflict for 30 long years. These families were forced to leave the villages after facing the severe impact of terrorism. These families have been homeless in their own home district since 1990. According to local residents, in the 1990s, when militancy was at its peak in Kashmir, the villages suffered significant damage, traumatising its residents and eventually forcing them to leave their homes from Shamthan and Gori Hajin villages in Bandipora.
