Amit Shah knows Puducherry better than me: Kiran Bedi
Jun 01, 2019
New Delhi, Jun 01 (ANI): After meeting newly appointed Union Minister of Home Affairs, Amit Shah, in the national capital, Pudducherry Lieutenant Governor Kiran Bedi in an attempt to dismiss the doubts being raised on the former’s capability to head the ministry, said the BJP president “knows more about Puducherry than me.” Bedi justified her argument by saying that Shah has been to ‘grass root level’ and cannot compete with him in that area. On being asked about the civic elections due in Puducherry for around 10 years, Bedi said it was a ‘challenge’ for the administration to facilitate the local polls as even Supreme Court has also ordered to conduct the polls as soon as possible.
