CBSE class 12th results declared, Hansika Shukla & Karishma Arora top exams with 99.8%

New Delhi, May 02 (ANI): The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Thursday released the Class 12 results for all regions. The total pass percentage for the country is 83.4 percent. While addressing a press conference, CBSE chairperson, Anita Karwal said, “Top performing region is Trivandrum with pass percentage of 98.2%, in Chennai region the pass percentage is 92.93% and in Delhi region the pass percentage is 91.87%. Hansika Shukla and Karishma Arora have topped the CBSE Class 12 exams scoring 499 marks each.” A total of 12, 87, 359 students appeared for 12 board examinations, out of which 7, 48, 498 are boys and 5, 38, 861 girls.
