PoGB, 24 December, 2024:- In Pakistan occupied Gilgit-Baltistan, the cutting of wood is on the rise as people look for ways to stay warm during the harsh winters. Unfortunately, this practice is leading to deforestation, which is further exacerbating climate change in the region. As the environment changes, a variety of diseases are emerging, highlighting the urgent need for government intervention to address this issue.
