Conference to aware farmers about quality fertilisers organised in Srinagar

Srinagar, Sep 10 (ANI): In a move to boost the agricultural production and help the farmers in Jammu and Kashmir, the Government in collaboration with Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO) organised a conference to educate the farmers regarding the utilisation of quality fertilisers in Srinagar. Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha inaugurated the event. The event saw a huge turn-up of farmers, agriculture scientists, fertiliser experts, and scholars. The aim of the conference was to introduce new and quality fertilisers that have good potential to produce quality crops. In order to boost the confidence and appreciate the farmers, the Government also awarded certificates among successful farmers. The Government also announced the distribution of 2,500 high tech motors pumps for free. The move was heavily appreciated.
