New Delhi, Jun 01 (ANI): Dr K Jayakumar, Congress MP from Thiruvallur commented on Centre’s three language policy. While speaking to ANI, he said, “I don’t understand why within 48 hours of swearing-in ceremony of the present government is going into such a delicate issue because the language policy in our country is a very delicate issue.” He also added, “As far as TN is considered, for the last 40 years we are very comfortable with two language formula. If anybody needs to communicate with people of TN, it would be great they learn Tamil and communicate. As far as this announcement of draft policy is concerned, well why three languages? We can go for four languages; however no language can be forced on any people for that matter in this country.”
