Srinagar, Aug 20 (ANI): Cultural and heritage exhibition attracted youngsters in Srinagar at the Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC) on the banks of Dal Lake in Kashmir. It was organised by the Department of Tourism to highlight the importance of the rich past of historical places. During the exhibition, beautiful and big hoardings were installed. These hoardings have the information of religious places like mosques, shrines, temples, gurdwaras, churches and other places also. Youngsters also got the chance to know about historical sites including religious places of the valley. Kashmir valley has a rich cultural history and it is known for its history. It is also known as valley of Sufis and Saints. That’s why Government also spent a lot of amount on preserving them so that future generations will know about Kashmir’s past. Presently, the tourism season is going on in the valley. Every year, lakhs of tourists come from different parts of the world to enjoy mesmerising beauty of Kashmir.
