Bhubaneswar (Odisha), May 11 (ANI): As people affected due to cyclone Fani in Odisha are still reeling with the mess which the cyclonic storm left behind, the state government on Friday said that it will “intensify” the ‘helping hand’ initiative to restore normalcy in affected areas. Sanjay Singh, the Secretary of Odisha’s Information & Public Relations Department, told ANI, “Around 260 skilled ITI trainees from different parts of state have come down to Bhubaneswar. They are going from house to house wherever people are having issues as regards to electrical appliances or plumbing.” “We are going to intensify the initiative of 'helping hand' in days to come. We are going to take up this work in Puri. Water supply has been restored in all urban areas both in quality and quantity.” More than 40 people have died due to Cyclone Fani in Odisha.
