Delhi CP Flags Off ‘Tiranga Rally’ from Police Headquarters

New Delhi, Augaust 12 (ANI) Delhi Police Commissioner Sanjay Arora flagged off ‘Tiranga Rally’ from the porch of PHQ, Jai Singh Road, yesterday. Special Police Commissioners and other senior officials were also present on the occasion. 45 Mobile Patrolling Vans, 22 Motorcycles and 8 Scooters ridden by women staff participated in the rally. They covered several prominent places in New Delhi District on a designated route during the rally, under the Government of India’s ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign. ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign has been launched under ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ celebrations to encourage citizens to bring the National Flags home and hoist it to mark the 75th year of India’s independence.
