Delhi Police arrests Afghan National with 4 kg heroin worth Rs 20 crore

New Delhi, September 04 (ANI): Delhi Police Crime Branch along with Gujarat Anti-Terror Squad (ATS) on September 04 busted an international drugs smuggling racket and arrested an Afghan national with 4 kg of high-grade heroin worth Rs 20 crores from the Vasant Kunj area in the national capital. Crime branch officials said, “He is an asylum seeker from UNHCR. He along with his family came to India on a medical visa in 2016. We had the information that this man was operating in Delhi-NCR. Our team developed the information and arrested him from Vasant Kunj. In total we recovered 4 kg of Heroin from him. The recovered Heroine is of high quality and is completely unadulterated. There is high demand of it in the international market.”
