Delhi Police solves attempt to murder case

New Delhi, September 09(ANI) With the arrest of Samarjit Singh, Delhi Police has solved an attempt to murder case which was held in Chanakya Place of Dabri area. He was a member of the Vicky Thakkar gang. Police received a complaint from a resident of Chanakya Place. When he reached in Dabri, Samarjit who is a criminal and he had some old enmity with him, met him. On seeing him, Samarjit attacked him with some sharp object and fled from the spot. He got deep injuries on his neck. After that, a dedicated police team was constituted to nab the accused. On the basis of technical and manual surveillance, a trap was laid down near Power House and at the instance of a secret informer, the accused person was apprehended by the team. The police have also recovered a buttoned knife from his possession.
