Donald Trump names Kash Patel as next Director of FBI, calls him ‘brilliant investigator’

New Delhi, December 01 (ANI): As ‘January 20’ nears, US President-elect Donald Trump intensifies his cabinet expansion ahead of taking office. In yet another surprise pick, Donald Trump on December 01 announced the next FBI Director. In a post on social media, Trump named Kash Patel as the next Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Trump also called him a ‘brilliant lawyer, investigator’ while highlighting his distinguished career in various Govt roles. Notably, Kash Patel is s former Republican staffer who served in various high-ranking staff roles in Trump's first term before 2020. Trump’s cabinet includes big names like Tulsi Gabbard as intel chief and Vivek Ramaswamy, Musk as DOGE heads.
