Uttarakhand ( Haridwar), Aug 30, 2022 (ANI): India’s fight against compounding pollution levels in the country is multi-dimensional.India has not just doubled down on its decarbonizing efforts to meet the global ‘net zero’ goals but has also adopted a systematic approach to bring about exhaustive change in the country’s environment.An intensive cleaning of the river systems, especially the Ganges basin that feeds the drinking and domestic-use water needs of hundreds of millions of Indians was identified as an area that called for immediate state attention.
