Gujarat's Mukhyamantri Paushtik Alpahar Yojana: A holistic approach to education and nutrition

The Gujarat government has launched the Mukhyamantri Paushtik Alpahar Yojana under the Suposhit Gujarat Mission to promote education and nutrition among schoolchildren. Over 41 lakh students in 32,000+ government and aided primary schools will receive nutritious snacks to aid their physical and mental development. The scheme includes an additional annual cost of ₹617 crore, with increased honorariums for PM Poshan Yojana staff. Inspired by PM Modi’s vision of "Developed India @2047", the initiative aims to create a healthy, well-nourished future generation.
