Haridwar (Uttarakhand), September 05 (ANI): Haridwar is located on the shores of the river Ganges, the city is visited by lakhs of Hindu devotees for pilgrimage every year. The city also portrays a beautiful example of religious harmony and brotherhood as the shrine of Kaliyar Shareef Sakir Sahib situated in the city is a place visited by people of different religious communities. Since ages, the Sufi Saints like Kaliyar Shareef have propagated the message of spiritualism and harmony in our country and their teachings are still playing a significant role in strengthening the thread of secularism.
