J&K: 3rd International conference on crystal engineering begins in Pahalgam

Anantnag, Sept 01 (ANI): Third International conference on crystal engineering titled ‘From Molecule to Crystal’ began at Pahalgam in the Anantnag district of South Kashmir. It began from August 31 and will conclude on September 02. It was hosted by the Department of Chemistry, University of Kashmir. The conference was organised in collaboration with Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Kolkata (IISER) at the famous tourist resort of Pahalgam. The purpose of the conference was to unite scholars, scientists and students for changing the state of imparting education. A good number of experts especially chemical scientists from different states participated in the conference. The local scientists also participated in the conference and shared their thoughts. It is the first conference in the valley and will comprise invited lectures, short lectures and poster presentations. The valley's chemical scientists are extremely proud to have the opportunity to host this international conference for the advancement of chemical sciences. All the participants of the conference were very much satisfied and they hoped for such type of conferences in the future as well.
