J&K: Self-help group starts delivery service in Pulwama

Pulwama (J&K): A self-help group started delivering products around Pampore area of Pulwama district in South Kashmir. The name of the delivery based initiative is ‘Brisk Delivery’. They give jobs to youngsters as full-time or part-time. 10-15 youths are working under the initiative and earning from delivering products. They tie up with restaurants and departmental stores in the town and provide delivery services to customers. They are taking orders from customers and asking them their choice of restaurants and other stores for direct deliveries. They are also planning to launch a mobile app for the customers. The idea attracted the youths towards the work which is also helping to solve the issue of unemployment. It is now spreading in small towns and youths are earning money.
