Kashmiri Pandit reopens his shop in downtown Srinagar after 3 decades

Srinagar (Jammu & Kashmir), May 02 (ANI): A Kashmiri Pandit reopened his shop after three decades in down town of Srinagar city. Roshan Lal Mawa left valley in 90s, when an unknown gunman shot him at his late father’s shop. But despite spending 29 years in Delhi, Roshan Lal Mawa returned back home to start his dry fruit business in Bohri Kadal Downtown Srinagar. People welcomed Roshan with tearful eyes. Roshan Lal Mawa while talking to ANI said, “I received a hero's welcome. My father had a shop in this area in 90s, when I was at the shop unknown person had shot me, but I survived. Then I got settled in Delhi but there's no place like Kashmir."
