Kolkata violence: BJP delegation meets VP Naidu, demands appropriate action against TMC

New Delhi, May 15 (ANI): A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) delegation on Wednesday met Vice President Venkaiah Naidu over the attack that took place during party president Amit Shah’s roadshow in Kolkata. Addressing the media, Union Human Resource Development Minister Prakash Javadekar informed that the delegation has submitted a memorandum to the Vice President and demanded a report to be sought for appropriate action against the Trinamool Congress. Violence erupted during Shah’s roadshow in Kolkata on May 14. The BJP president today squarely blamed the TMC and its supremo Mamata Banerjee for the violence.
