LGBTQ community celebrates ‘20 years of friendship’ in Kolkata

Kolkata, Jun 30 (ANI): LGBTQ community celebrated ‘20 years of their friendship’ with pride walk in Kolkata. The walk was meant for uniting their community together without any discrimination. Pride march was organized to commemorate the Stonewall riots. While speaking to ANI, a LGBTQ member said, “The first pride known as friendship pride was held in Kolkata, so this is the 20th anniversary we are celebrating here.” “We do this pride walk to show our existence to the society, we also have an identity. We celebrate this walk despite any obstacles,” another LGBTQ member commented.
