Locals in PoGB Struggle with Poor Infrastructure and Contaminated Water

Gilgit, PoGB, 18 February 2025:- The roads in Pakistan-occupied Gilgit-Baltistan are in terrible shape, and the visuals show the painful reality. When it rains, the roads turn into rivers of mud, washing away parts of the path and leaving whole communities trapped. The local residents are protesting because these dangerous roads are putting their lives at risk and under the name of renovation and construction, only paperwork is being done.
