Lok Sabha elections: Agatha Sangma files her nomination in Meghalaya’s Tura

Tura (Meghalaya), Mar 23 (ANI): Former Union Minister Agatha Sangma filed her nomination papers as a candidate of National People’s Party (NPP) in Meghalaya’s Tura on Friday. She filed her nomination for the Tura parliamentary seat in Meghalaya. Speaking to ANI, Agatha Sangma said, “I would like to thank everybody from my political party. They have shown solidarity in me and they waited the whole day for this nomination to be filed. The mood for the elections will definitely start from now onwards. My focus is always being development and in last one year the state government under the leadership of Conrad Sangma has performed so well.”
