LS polls: 4th phase of polling begins on 71 seats in 9 states

Kannauj (UP), Mumbai, Darbhanga (Bihar), Bolpur (WB), Apr 29 (ANI): Polling has begun on Monday for the fourth phase of Lok Sabha election in 71 parliamentary constituencies spread across nine states. Voting has been started for 17 Parliamentary seats in Maharashtra; 13 each in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh; eight in West Bengal; six each in Madhya Pradesh and Odisha; five in Bihar; and three in Jharkhand in this phase. The administration has also made efforts to ensure that every specially abled person, senior citizen, and pregnant women are able to cast their vote in a hassle-free manner. Elaborate arrangements have also been made for the smooth conduct of the 4th phase of General Election. Results will be declared on May 23
