LS polls: Sanjay Raut backs brother Sunil’s threat on Mumbai North-East seat

Mumbai, Mar 29 (ANI): Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut on Friday backed his brother’s threat of contesting the Mumbai North-East Lok Sabha seat as independent candidate, if the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) fields Kirit Somaiya from it, and said that this issue was not about politics since many Shiv Sena workers wanted Sunil to contest the seat. “This isn't matter of Sunil Raut but the feeling of many SS workers, has been conveyed to Uddhav ji. This shouldn't be linked to politics,” Raut told ANI.
