LS polls: Tariq Anwar expresses his views on Amit Shah to contest elections from Gandhinagar

New Delhi, Mar 22 (ANI): Recently Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will contest for upcoming Lok Sabha elections from Varanasi while BJP president Amit Shah will contest from Gandhinagar. Now, Congress leader Tariq Anwar expressed his views on it. He said, “Although it is a personal matter of BJP but I would say Lal Krishna Advani has helped BJP to grow and BJP insulted him and gave ticket to Amit Shah. It shows selfishness of BJP clearly.” He further said, “They sidelined Advani and country will not like this move at all because whole nation respects Lal Krishna Advani.”
