Maharashtra’s Latur faces acute water scarcity

Latur (Maharashtra), May 18 (ANI): Latur district in Maharashtra has been facing acute water scarcity due to lack of of water. Latur comes under one of the most drought-hit regions of Maharashtra. While speaking to ANI locals said, "Government water tankers come only once in 15 days, we get only 250 litres of water. We've to buy drinking water separately. There has been very less rain, can't grow crops, there is no other means of employment." Water tankers deployed in region have failed to cover all parts of district.
