Srinagar, Jan 31 (ANI): Syed Sajad Parvaiz, an entrepreneur from Kupwara, has made a significant contribution to the region's aquaculture industry by establishing the first-ever trout feed mill under the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY). This project, valued at ₹30 Lakh, has received a subsidy of ₹12 Lakh, marking a major milestone in the region’s efforts to boost fish farming and improve the livelihoods of local fish farmers. This initiative, which is a part of a national scheme to promote sustainable fisheries and aquaculture, aims to boost fish production, create employment opportunities, and support the growth of the fish farming sector.
