Menstrual Hygiene Day: Sanitary napkin vending machine installed at govt hospital in Chennai

Chennai, May 29 (ANI): On the occasion of Menstrual Hygiene Day, a sanitary napkin vending machine was installed at the Tamil Nadu Government Multi Super Specialty Hospital in Chennai today. The machine will dispense one sanitary napkin in Rs. 5. All you have to do in insert a coin of Rs. 5 and the machine will dispense a sanitary napkin. The sanitary napkins provided by the machine are eco friendly. On the occasion, to make women aware about the menstrual hygiene, a chart was also displayed to explain do’s and don’ts of sanitary napikins.
