Jul 21, 2024

Chitawan (Nepal), July 21 (ANI): A twelve-member Indian team, including four divers from India's National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), has joined Nepali search teams to locate two buses that went missing in the Trishuli River a week ago. The Indian team arrived in Chitwan yesterday and began their search operation on Sunday morning. The incident occurred on July 12 when two buses carrying 65 passengers on the Narayanghat-Muglin road were hit by a landslide and swept away by the Trishuli River. Three passengers managed to escape and swam to safety. The Indian rescue team was requested by the Nepali government due to a shortage of manpower and proper equipment.
