NMCG organizes 'Cleanathon', a drive to clean river Yamuna

New Delhi,June 28 (ANI), The National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG) organized 'Cleanathon', a mass drive to clean the Yamuna River in New Delhi. Yamuna is the longest tributary of the holy Ganga and government aims to keep it clean to make Ganga pollution-free. To spread mass awareness, Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and Minister of State for Jal Shakti, Rattan Lal Kataria graced the occasion in the presence of officials from Ministry of Jal Shakti and National Mission for Clean Ganga. The ministers and officials from various departments also joined the cleanliness drive along with volunteers and army personnel at Kalindi Kunj Ghat.
