Piyush Goyal takes charge as Railways, Commerce & Industry Minister

New Delhi, May 31 (ANI): Piyush Goyal, on Friday, took the charge of Railways, Commerce and Industry ministries in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s new cabinet. Goyal first made his mark in BJP as a treasurer and held portfolios in coal, power, railways and finance. After taking the charge he said that he will give new speed to Indian Railways with new facilities. he also added that Railways will work on giving a better journey experience to passengers and will also make drastic change in Railways facility. Goyal was given the finance portfolio in May last year which he held till August, while Arun Jaitley was recuperating from a kidney transplant.
