PM Modi chairs high-level meeting to review preparedness for Cyclone Fani

New Delhi, May 02 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday chaired a high-level meeting in the national capital to review the preparedness for Cyclone Fani which is expected to hit the coasts of Odisha tomorrow. The meeting was attended by Principal Secretary and Additional Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister. Home Secretary and other senior officials from IMD, NDRF and NDMA were also present. Cyclone Fani which is predicted to take the ‘extremely severe’ shape , is expected to hit coastal regions of Odisha tomorrow, and in view of that, around 8,00,000 people will be evacuated from the low-lying areas of Puri.
