PM Modi compares NCP-Congress alliance with Kumbhakarna

Wardha (Maharashtra), Apr 01 (ANI): Ahead of the Lok Sabha polls 2019, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday addressed a public rally in Maharashtra’s Wardha. PM Modi slammed Congress and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) by comparing their alliance with Hindu mythology rakshasa Kumbhakarna, who was defamed for his long sleep. He said “In Maharashtra, the alliance of Congress and NCP is like Kumbhakarna, they sleep for 6 months, when they are in power.” “One of them awake after 6 months, takes public money and then again goes to sleep.” The polling dates for Maharashtra will be on April 11, 18, 23 and 29.
