PM Modi departs for Sri Lanka from Maldives

Male (Maldives), June 09 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi left for Sri Lanka from Maldives’s Male today. PM Modi will meet Sri Lanka's President Maithripala Sirisena later in the day. During his visit, PM will hold discussions with Maithripala Sirisena. PM Modi will be the first foreign leader to visit the island nation after the Easter bombings that killed over 250 people, including 11 Indians. This will be Modi’s third visit to Sri Lanka. Earlier, he visited the country in 2015 and 2017.
