PM Modi to visit Maldives, confirms Foreign Secretary Gokhale

New Delhi, Jun 06 (ANI): While addressing a press conference, Vijay Gokhale, the Foreign Secretary said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Maldives and Sri Lanka on 8th and 9th June. PM Modi will also address the Maldivian Parliament on 8th June.”He added, “There has been a significant progress in the bilateral relationship since President Solih was elected in November 2018. Since then we have signed visa facilitation agreement which has come into force in March which is important because it address a number of issues.”
