‘Sports was never part of the plan’, says gold medalist Neeraj Chopra

Tokyo (Japan), Aug 08 (ANI): Country’s star athlete Neeraj Chopra created history on August 07 by bringing home the gold medal in javelin throw in Tokyo Olympics 2020. Neeraj said that he never thought that his journey which started from weight loss would bring him to the Golden Olympic win. He thanked the sports authority for keeping their training camp continued during the pandemic. Chopra dedicated his medal to P.T. Usha and Milkha Singh and said that it was their hard work that inspired him through the journey.
