Srinagar’s Pragaash event celebrates local talent and ground breaking ideas

Srinagar (J&K), December 25 (ANI): The Kashmir Valley is rapidly emerging as a burgeoning hub for innovation, as highlighted by the successful PRAGAASH Nurturing and Innovation Ecosystem Showcase held recently in Srinagar. Organized by the Pi Jam Foundation in association with UNICEF and NITI Aayog, the event aimed to spotlight and nurture local talent, providing a platform for aspiring innovators from various schools in the region.The showcase brought together a diverse group of participants, including startups, students, and established entrepreneurs, allowing them to connect, share their experiences, and explore potential collaborations. It also provided an invaluable networking opportunity, enabling attendees to discuss ideas and form partnerships for future ventures.The innovation ecosystem highlighted at the PRAGAASH event covered a wide range of sectors, with groundbreaking ideas showcased in technology, sustainability, and community development. Among the many innovations presented were the Smart Drainage Blockage Mapping System, Mosquito Control Solutions, the Early Landslide Detection and Alert System, Smart IoT Women Safety Handbags, Gesture Sketch Pro, and Smart Flock. Notably, Tashnaer modernizing the traditional Kashmiri Tash Naar, and Happy Bees brought forward innovative solutions for local issues, demonstrating the breadth of creativity present in Srinagar.Tech-driven solutions addressing critical local challenges, such as sustainable tourism, agriculture, and safety, were prominently featured.
