Summer Ice-Stock Championship organised in Srinagar

Srinagar, Sept 05 (ANI): Jammu and Kashmir Summer Ice-Stock Championship was organised in Srinagar. It was organised under ‘My Youth My Pride’ initiative by Jammu and Kashmir Ice Stock Association and Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council. More than 200 athletes from 12 districts across J&K participated in the championship. They competed in the categories of team game, target game, distance and individual target categories. Ice-Stock is played on an ice surface but this championship is being held on concrete surfaces during summer to increase the reach of this sport all around the world.
