Travel enthusiasts all set to drive their cars to London

Imphal (Manipur), Apr 15 (ANI): Journey of a lifetime! 19 men and 8 women are set to travel from Imphal to London in an epic self-drive road expedition spanning 50 days. This expedition promises adrenaline rush as the route crosses zig-zag road, mountains and meeting beautiful people and lasting memories. This journey was flagged off by Major General KP Singh, YSM, IGAR (South). The trip was organised by Adventures Overland that specializes in driving expeditions across seven continents. The group includes enthusiasts from Delhi, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Chennai, Zirkapur, Mumbai and United Kingdom. The adventurous trip will begin form Imphal, Manipur and will cover a distance of 16,000 kilometres, crossing 18 countries in a convoy of 7 cars. “We share a common love for travel, and now we are getting to share the joy of travelling with our participants. Providing a niche and classy experience in a secure environment is our top priority. We conduct a thorough background check along with our experience of basic behavioural science to ensure everyone has a good time. We ensure an experienced local guide is travelling with the group at all hours to ensure personal safety, smooth communication and travel,” said Tushar Agarwal, Co-Founder, Adventures Overland. The participants will be driving through challenging terrains, off-beat tracks, mountain passes and expressways to reach the British capital. On the way, participants will be visiting the 11th and 12th century temples and pagodas in Myanmar, the Great Wall of China at the Jiayuguan Pass, historic cities of Tashkent and Samarkand in Uzbekistan.
