Triple Talaq Bill is issue of ‘insaaf’, women empowerment: RS Prasad

New Delhi, Jun 21 (ANI): Union Minister of Law and Justice Ravi Shankar Prasad slammed Congress party for opposing Triple Talaq Bill in Lok Sabha on Friday. While addressing the media he said, “It was a matter of great distress that Congress chose to oppose introduction of Triple Talaq Bill.” “We have always stated that Triple Talaq is neither an issue of religion nor of prayer nor of any other communal consideration. It is a pure and simple issue of justice, dignity and women empowerment,” he further added.
