Union Home Ministry approves CBI investigation into Sonali Phogat death case

Panaji (Goa), Sep 12 (ANI): Amid the demands by the family of Sonali Phogat, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on September 12 in Panaji, informed that the Union Home Ministry has handed over the Sonali Phogat death case to the CBI and they will investigate the matter. Speaking to ANI, Goa CM Pramod Sawant said, “Home Minister has given the case to CBI, after the family’s continuous demand. Now, the CBI will investigate. Goa Police will hand over their complete investigation to the CBI. Goa Police will fully cooperate.”
